Travelling to school
Walking
Many of our pupils walk to school, we ask parents to advise safe walking routes and behaviour when pupils are walking to school.
Cycle
We are pleased to have ample space for cycles on site so that pupils may cycle to school and store their cycles safely during the school day.
Car
Parking at the Academy is very limited so parents should avoid parking in the staff car park and in the areas where the school buses park, at the start and end of the school day, as this delays both staff and the school buses.
Please drive with extreme care around the site at all times!
Bus and Taxi
Most pupils living three or more miles away from school are entitled to free transport to school by school bus or taxi. The Academy will use seating plans and 'Bus Prefects' to report incidents and help younger pupils if problems arise.
