University Academy Holbeach is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and inspirational teacher to join our supportive and committed award winning music department. This post is suitable for an experienced or newly qualified teacher wishing to join a team of specialists who ensure a high standard of teaching, learning and achievement. Applications are also welcome for those suitably qualified and who are seeking to achieve QTS status, which will be supported by the school.
Music is a popular subject across all key stages and we are proud to run a vibrant and diverse department. You will have the opportunity to teach a range of classes in Music across all key stages and, including the delivery of GCSE and Level 3 Cambridge Technicals post 16.
Interested candidates will have:
- QTS
- the ability to teach Music to KS3/KS4/KS5
- the ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons
- a willingness and enthusiasm to run and direct a range of extra-curricular activities
- the ability to motivate and achieve excellent results
- excellent organisational skills and an appreciation of your subject
- the ability to form positive working relationships with staff and pupils
University Academy Holbeach is an oversubscribed school in a rural location and serves the local community and the surrounding villages. The school site is equipped with state of the art facilities including teaching walls.
