Odd Socks Day
On Monday 14th November, the Academy took part in Odd Socks Day. This is organised by the Anti-Bullying Alliance and is the start of Anti-Bullying Week. Pupils and staff were encouraged to wear odd socks on Monday, as a show of support to anyone who has been bullied and as a demonstration of our wish to stop bullying. Pupils have been learning about the different forms of bullying and have been reminded of what to do if they know about or are a victim of bullying. KS3 pupils have also been invited to take part in a poster competition, designing eye-catching anti-bullying posters.
