Exams Officer

Start date: June 2025
G5-12 to G5-15 (£26,409 to £29,093 pro-rata) – 41 weeks
(Term time plus 2 weeks in August and Training Days)
We are seeking to appoint an Exams Officer for June 2025.
The successful candidate will need to be an enthusiastic and hard-working individual. Within the role successful candidates will be involved in:
- Collection, processing and checking of exam entry information.
- Keeping exam access arrangement information up to date.
- Assisting with the collection of estimated grades and coursework marks from teachers and the distribution of pre-release exam materials to teachers.
- Assisting on results days, communicating results to students and resolving student; parent and teacher queries.
- Assisting with the exam timetable and attendance list.
- Booking and communicating with invigilators.
- Assisting with parent and student exam communications and absences for exams.
- Receiving, checking and storing examination scripts.
- Assisting on examination days: preparing examination materials, supporting the Senior Invigilator, packing and despatch of scripts.
- Assisting with applications for special consideration and post-results queries.
- Preparation and distribution of exam certificates.
- Assisting with the organisation and running of invigilation feedback, updates and training.
- Liaising with senior staff and supply agencies to organise cover for absent colleagues.
Additional duties:
- Play a full part in the life of the UAH, to support its distinctive aims and ethos and to encourage students to follow this example.
- Participate in induction training, staff review processes and professional development opportunities.
- Carry out such similar duties as may be required by the Principal/Senior staff, commensurate with the post.
