National Skillbuild success for UAH Apprentice Bricklayer
UAH apprentice bricklayer Jacob Kelk has followed on from his recent 1st place success in the Skillbuild regional qualifiers by obtaining an amazing 2nd place within the National finals.
The SkillBuild National Final 2024 celebrates the incredible talent of construction trainees and apprentices from across the UK.
Following the Regional Qualifiers, which were held at various colleges across the UK earlier this year, the National Final took place at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes on 19 - 21 November. The event attracted thousands of visitors, highlighting the variety of skills and career opportunities available within the industry.
Across the three days, Jacob was tasked with constructing a project designed by an expert panel of judges, within an 18-hour timeframe. The project tested his knowledge and skills, as well as his ability to work under pressure and manage their time.
Everyone at UAH are immensely proud of Jacob and would like to congratulate him on his well-earned success.
